About Me

Alex Deters attends St. Anthony High School, where he has served as class president for 3 years. In addition to playing basketball and soccer, he is actively involved in student council, National Honor Society, Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC), history club, Kairos leader, and science club. Outside of school, he loves to play sports and hang out with family and friends. His plans are to attend the University of Indiana Kelley School of Business, where he will study marketing.

"We toured John Boos on Friday, where we got to tour the wood plant. It was kind of crazy just to think that for an hour and a half we toured the wood plant, which is only 40% of their business. They still put their little details into the wood side and that’s why they succeed."

I first started off the week with just the people I knew from my school. As the week went on I saw myself stepping out from my school friends and going to talk to other people from different schools. Within the short week, I saw myself step out of my comfort zone and try something new for a change.
