Ashley Goeckner

About Me

Ashley Goeckner attends Altamont High School where she participates in basketball and softball. In addition, she is involved with National Honor Society, student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and other organizations. Ashley also spends her time volunteering in the Big Brothers and Big Sisters mentoring program. She is currently employed at the Carriage House Event Center and Joe’s Pizza in Altamont. She is also very active in her church where she helps organize the summer vacation bible school and also assists in teaching a catechism class. After high school, Ashley plans to attend a four year university where she will major in exercise science then continue her education to get her doctorate degree in physical therapy.

About My Business

Ashley Goeckner has created Ashley’s Sensory Blankets to help people with their cognitive skills. The handmade sensory blankets are used to help people of all ages practice motor skills and use their senses. They are 18” by 18” blankets containing different fabrics to provide different textures. The blankets come in three different styles, including a simple blanket, a taggie blanket, and a motor skill blanket.
