Avery Elder
About Me
Avery Elder attends St. Anthony High School. She has been part of the Cross Country and Bellettes dance teams for the past four years. She participates in school musicals, Pep Club, Catholic Athletes for Christ, Campus Ministry Club, History Club, and is part of the National Honor Society. Avery helps teach dance classes at Jansen’s Dance Center and is a lifeguard at the Kluthe Memorial Pool during the summer. Traveling and music are big parts of Avery’s life, as she is planning her third trip to Europe next summer and knows how to play four instruments. Spending time with friends and family takes up the remainder of her free time. Although undecided, she believes CEO will guide her in making official decisions for college. However, Avery has interests in business and marketing majors.
“Taking chances and learning from my successes and mistakes intrigues and inspires me. CEO is the perfect way to combine these aspects of my interest into something that I will be able to benefit from for years to come. I am very eager to learn about what it means to be a leader, communicator, team member and an entrepreneur."

"My takeaway from the Show and Tell day was that my class is full of several innovative and out of the box thinkers. I can’t wait to see what these people will do in the future."

"When I saw her (Karen Wolters) name on the calendar, I got very excited because I remembered her story from when she spoke at The Experience two years ago. Hearing about her story again was just as incredible as the first time because of all the interesting things she’s done with her life. One of the things she said that really made an impression on me was that any product should solve a problem. Those words of advice really got me to narrow down ideas for my personal business. Her mindset of business and life really inspires me. I hope one day I can be as experienced as she is."
