The students traveled to Toledo to visit the headquarters of Ervin Equipment Inc.. A family-owned company, Ervin Equipment was founded in 1981 as a used equipment dealer. The business has continued to grow into an international company selling semi-trailers and dry van trailers. Cole Ervin, President of the company, explained that although it is just a component of their business, locally they are known for their work in the tour bus industry. The students enjoyed walking through some of the buses they had in the shop. It was incredible to hear how many local resources the company incorporates into their buses.
