Alyssa Long

“I appreciate the confidence I gained from stepping outside my comfort zone, over and over again. The entire CEO experience was a lesson in life skills -- even more so than in business. The connections I made because of my involvement in the class have been invaluable. Being associated with a name like CEO is an honor, and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it.”

Since graduating from the CEO class in 2010, Alyssa has graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in Advertising. She is now a writer, working for the Effingham & Teutopolis News Report.

“Wherever I may end up, in my career, I hope that the path I take allows me to continue to grow in, and with, the Effingham community. I would like to continue writing (in some way, shape or form), volunteering my time to local organizations and representing the CEO brand to the best of my ability. Whatever I can do to uphold the legacy of Mr. Lindvahl, and those who had a hand in creating and nurturing this program, I intend to do. I can't wait to see how CEO will grow in the future!”
