Justin Goeckner

About Me

Justin Goeckner is an Altamont High School senior. Justin plays varsity basketball. When not on the court, he is also a participant in  FFA, Envirothon, pep club, and National Honor Society. Justin spent this past summer working alongside his brother, doing property maintenance around the lake in Vandalia. He also works at a concession stand that travels to various fairs and festivals. Justin plans to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville next fall where he will major in computer management information systems.

"CEO to me is an opportunity to think and to act like a successful businessperson. I hope to use the skills I learn in CEO to apply successfully for the Meridian Scholarship to SIUE."

Justin Goeckner is the president and CEO of Goeckner Software Development. The company specializes in programming applications for iOS devices. The mission of Goeckner Software Development is to provide the innovative applications and entertainment for all ages. The company’s vision is to be the leading producer of mobile applications. Justin’s first app is a game called Pixel Jump. In this game, the objective is to run as far as possible while trying to avoid obstacles. Pixel Jump grew from the concept of creating a simple game, challenging enough to keep players eagerly coming back. Justin plans to go to Lake Land Community College for two years, and then transfer to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to obtain a degree either in computer software engineering or in computer management information systems.
