Nardeen Kaldas

About Me

Nardeen Kaldas is a senior at St. Anthony High School. Nardeen is in National Honor Society, on the student council, and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  She also participates in the school’s musicals and choir. Nardeen works at Steak n’ Shake and babysits. Nardeen is currently uncertain about her college plans, but CEO may play a part in her ultimate decision.

"I hope CEO will help me decide where to attend college. I expect the class will change the way I think and the way I look at things. It should help me grow as a person, and I believe it will improve my communication skills. I am so excited about CEO and the wonderful opportunity that has been given to me."

About My Business

Nardeen Kaldas owns and operates Egyptian Handcrafts. She sells bags, cushions and scarves handmade by women in Egypt. These women are employed by St. Mark’s Cathedral in Cairo, where they work to provide for their families. Nardeen’s bags and cushions are hand-embroidered and her scarves are hand-painted. Each and every product has a special design, so everyone has their own unique product. Nardeen plans on going to the University of Illinois, taking general education courses for the few semesters, and then to major in business. She is not certain about which branch of business she’ll eventually settle on. What Nardeen enjoys most about the CEO class is being treated like an adult, learning all about the business world.
