About Me
Jacob Crow is a captain of the varsity soccer team, runs track, and plays varsity scholastic bowl at Altamont High School. He is also part of the school newspaper and yearbook staff, WYSE team, and NHS. For the past two years, he has worked at the Dairy Bar in Altamont. To give back to his community he helps at his church as a volunteer catechism teacher. After high school, Jacob plans to attend a four-year university where he expects to major in aerospace engineering with a minor in business. He hopes that one day he can start his own company designing airplanes.
“I hope CEO will give me the tools and mindset that I need to succeed not only as an entrepreneur, but also as a person. I have wanted to be in CEO for a while and now that I am, I plan to make the most of it.”
About My Business
Jacob Crow has decided to use his interest in drones to create Eagle Optics Aerial Photography. Eagle Optics is a photography company that utilizes a drone to capture images from a new perspective. Using the latest drone technology, Jacob is able to take high quality photos and video of almost anything you can think of. Whether it is a picture of your home or business, survey of hunting or farm ground, or an event to remember, Eagle Optics will meet your needs for a reasonable price. "Being the last journal, I thought I would add some thoughts about the entirety of CEO. CEO has without a doubt created an impact on me in various ways. This impact is able to be felt every day when I go to school or am in public talking with adults. I feel as though CEO has prepared me to excel in college or anything else that I will do. I have made some new friends and countless connections and I gained some new mentors. I have been exposed to aspects of life and business that I probably would not have until much later. I really enjoyed CEO and I will remember its lessons and experiences forever."

You could easily see her excitement and enthusiasm for CEO and I think that she was a really big refresher and motivator. "The owner of Candle Art, Phil Niemerg, was a very interesting and intelligent man. Before we looked at the facility he shared some advice and the story of his business. The piece of advice that stuck with me the most is if you cannot do what you love then do what you do not hate. Then, when you make enough money, you can find what you love and do it. Another piece of advice came from his early work experiences. He said that when you get a new job, talk to the older people who have been there the longest because they can teach you the most. He stressed the importance of always learning new things which is how he came to do what he does now."
