My Featured Journal Entries
Jean Bohnhoff from the Department of Aging was our visitor today. She has a very interesting job, nothing like I have ever thought of before, and to be honest, I didn’t really know existed. Her job is very very important to the elderly people in Illinois. She works to give the elderly basic needs, and to have a happy life as they continue to grow older. She seemed like a very charitable person and spends her time helping others. I thought it was very cool that the governor specially picked her for this job. She works all over Illinois to provide care the elderly. It was crazy how she had to go from managing 9 counties to managing all 102 in Illinois! I found her job to be really intriguing and I am glad that her position exists so all people, no matter what age, can live a happy and meaningful life.
