About Me
Lauren Ozenkoski is a senior at Teutopolis High School, and she spends her time there passionately involved in various activities. She is president of her class and student council, as well as co-editor of the school newspaper. She is also a member of the dance team, drama club, and Volunteens. In her time away from school, she is typically found curled up with a good book, out with friends, or on the job. She works at the TK Grille, found within the Holiday Inn, as a hostess or server. She isn’t exactly sure where the future is taking her, but she does know it will begin with going straight to college to earn a degree in business.
“I’ve always said CEO is an extraordinary opportunity that creates extraordinary people. I am thrilled to watch myself grow and come into my own through this program.”

"It’s funny to think how much each speaker and business visit affects us. There are things we know nothing about, and one presentation sparks our interest. That is what CEO is about, thinking about things and analyzing them. We need to become critical thinkers, because no successful person got there without questioning how something could be changed or made better."

I thought the day went very smoothly, logistically. I was worried about the space, but it wasn’t too overly crowded. I think we definitely accomplished our mission of setting ourselves apart from previous years with the success of the alumni tradeshow, taste of Effingham, different venue, and a changed up plan to only have keynote speakers. I know a big thing I wanted to accomplish was being different than before, and I’m very happy that we got to make ourselves stand out.

"I had a wonderful week this week, and as usual, I am so ready for the next. We get chances every day to make connections with people, and I think that is something that we shouldn’t take for granted. We grow more and more each week, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us."
