My Featured Journal Entries
"I was amazed by Conni Houlihan's energy and passion for what she does. She talked a lot about self confidence keeping things in perspective. One of my favorite quotes from that day was “You are so powerful.” It was a very simple quote but it had a strong message. People often don't realize how much of an impact they can have on people and the world when they start believing that they are powerful."04/26/2017
"One of the things I like about CEO is that the class is being able to learn about businesses in Effingham County, some we may not have ever known about. This was the case for me on Tuesday. I had never known about Vantage Outsourcing and I had little knowledge about the services they provide, which is supplying products needed to perform a cataract surgery. Before that day, I didn’t even know what a cataract was."

"Theresa Rutherford, told us to make ourselves the leaders we want to be, I can see her advice applying to the students and the hospital. I can tell that at St. Anthony’s they strive every day to be the leader they want to be in the community."03/29/2017
"Zach Mette started the business just under two years as his personal business for the CEO class. It is so amazing that he could come so far with his business in only two short years from just having a booth at the CEO tradeshow to owning his own store front. I thought it was great for the class to see how far someone who was in our shoes not too long as come since participating in the class... I remember Zach telling us to keep an open mind about our business and I agree with what he said because you never know just you could go with what you might think is a crazy idea."

"It was exciting getting to talk to some of the juniors that are interested in the CEO class. It’s awesome getting to meet people from other counties that have started or are starting the CEO program. This shows just how far CEO has come in the past couple of years and how much farther it will go."

"The Power of One presentation from Heartland Dental taught me that having positive energy really does have a big impact on your life, how you interact with people, how you feel, and how positive energy attracts positive experiences. Not only that, but the decisions you make greatly impacts your life as well as how others see you."10/18/2016
