Tuscan Hills Winery was the first destination of last week. The class had the privilege of hearing from both Carrie Rodman and Mindy McManaway, who manage the winery's daily operations.

The newly elected class business leadership team took the initiative to form committees, aiming to establish some structure as they begin making decisions about their business.

The class then traveled to Altamont to visit Irwin Telescopic Seating. The students were impressed to learn about the global impact of the local stadium seating company.

To conclude the week, Effingham's tourism director, Jodi Thoele, highlighted the wonderful tourism opportunities our community has to offer.
