About Me

Megan Schmidt is a senior at St. Anthony High School.  Megan is amember of St A’s student council, National Honor Society, pep club, Spanish club, and she cheerleads for the St Anthony Bulldogs. During the school year she works at Pup’s Club, which is the St. Anthony Grade School after-school program.

"I think CEO is an amazing opportunity; one in which I can learn about real business in an everyday setting. I also am excited to begin learning about the different businesses around Effingham County. I believe CEO will prepare me to be successful in college and in the profession I choose."

Megan Schmidt's business is Halo Hair Accessories. Halo Hair Accessories sells one of a kind, stylish headbands and hair accessories. Each headband is quality made, and no two are alike! Megan’s favorite part of CEO is meeting business leaders around the area and having those connections for the future. CEO has moved her out of her comfort zone and has taught her that is the only way to grow. It has impressed upon Megan many life lessons and skills that she can use in the future. She plans to attend the University of Missouri and study business, and then graduate with a law degree.
