"On Friday the class heard Kyle Packer speak. I know he is an outstanding man. I have seen the movie Uphill Climb and it is truly remarkable what he has done and the challenges he has faced. Sometimes in life we think we have it hard but people like Kyle always prove us wrong. He is such an inspiration."

"Class days provide the class time to sort it out. On Wednesday, we discussed the visits we went on and speakers we heard. We also talked a lot about our business plans which are due this week. I enjoy the time we have with just our class and the honest conversations that take place during class days."

"Kristina Krost shared with us about Green Job Opportunities. I could hear the passion she has for our earth and her job as she shared with us about Faith In Place. Kristina works for Faith In Place which empowers leaders to take care of the earth. Kristina did not think she would be doing this as she went to school for education, but when her husband changed careers, so did she. In this job she teaches adults on how to take better care of the earth. It is truly amazing all the things we can do to make our world better, that I didn’t even know about. Kristina left us with saying, “The way you find meaning to life is to find something that gives you meaning and purpose.”
