My Featured Journal Entries
"Mentor Hustle Hour was a great time. Norma talked with me about what advice I had received from the bankers and gave me more suggestions regarding my business plan. We also talked over the preparations for the trade show booth and had some more recommendations for some extra decorations in my booth. I always have a great time talking with Norma and learning from her. She always asks me what I have done for fun since we met last, and tries to get me to realize that I need to enjoy life and have some time for myself."

"Friday was a great day of networking with CEO board members of other counties and Blume and Baum did an amazing job of presenting on how they started and are growing. The CEO board members were an amazing audience for us to talk with about our personal business and the CEO Experience, and they were all very kind and help myself and others reflect on how we have grown over the past few months through CEO. Blume and Baum is a different type of floral business that is inspiring to see a company at its beginning stages succeeding to that degree. Their business model is interesting and inspiring as they did their research enough to know that a brick and mortar business wasn’t worth doing at the time being with many brick and mortar stores closing. These sisters were very energetic and it was visible that they had found their passion."

"Norma Lansing meet with me on Saturday morning for a cup of coffee at Joe Sippers and she gave me some great ideas that I can incorporate into my business for the purposes of building my brand and also having a consumable item to sell at the tradeshow. She also gave me several statements I need to have prepared. For example, what would I say to a small business owner who believes that Facebook enough and they don’t need a website. Norma is also connecting me with a great marketing expert to help with ideas for my business." 12/06/2016
"At Patterson Technology Center on Thursday we had an in depth look at what progress has been made by the committees, what still needs to be done, and what they need help with. I am really impressed with the variety of speakers and the progress being made."11/23/2016
