About Me

Allison McDevitt is a senior at Effingham High School. She participates in Student Council and many clubs throughout the year. After school, you can catch her working at the Sacred Heart School after-school program. In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, hanging out with friends, and going to Joe Sippers. Her future plans include attending Lake Land College for two years, then to transfer to a university to possibly major in business.

About My Business

Allison McDevitt is the co-founder of A & M Designs. Allison and her partner, Madilynn Stortzum have partnered up to create handcrafted home decor. Each sign is made completely from scratch, and includes a phrase that fits the consumer's unique lifestyle. They offer two sizes of signs, a 10x30 in. and a 16x16 in. and also have three different shades of stain to offer for the frames. Their vision is to create affordable and trendy home decor pieces perfect for any home. In the fall, Allison plans to attend Lake Land College to study business administration. She then plans to transfer to a university to further her education.
