Kalista Jackson

About Me

Kalista Jackson is a senior at Effingham High School. She enjoys reading, church, spending time with friends and family, and all things Disney. During her high school career, she has been involved in several extra-curricular activites, including swim team, choir, winter guard, color guard/marching band, pep club, and history club. She is yearbook editor, has served as book club officer, and has been student of the month for the math and fine arts departments. This year, she’s been actively advocating for mental health programs and promoting awareness at school in an attempt to destigmatize mental health issues and encourage students to seek out help if needed.  In addition to her extra- curricular activities, she spends much of her time volunteering, donates blood as often as possible, and has been on honor roll for four years. Kalista is looking forward to pursuing a career as a pediatric psychologist.
