Makenna French

About Me

Makenna is a senior at Dieterich High School. She runs cross-country, is a 3-year All-American cheerleader, and is the dance captin. She was also a part of the first Explore Effingham Regional Career Academy class. She has been employed at Niemerg's Steakhouse for 2 years and plans to continue throughout college. Outside of school and work you can find her fishing, playing fetch with her dog, hanging with friends, tumbling, bowling, and golfing. She also enjoys watching crime documentaries, Wheel of Fortune, and Survivor with her family. After high school, Makenna plans to attend Lake Land College to pursue a career in real estate.

I applied for the CEO program to make lasting connections and learn about the local businesses in Effingham County. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the CEO Class of 2024.
