My Featured Journal Entries
"Friday Morning at the Vision 2020 Breakfast was so motivational and inspiring. It is so cool to see the community coming together to work for the future of our county. Hearing Dr. Workman’s story was so inspiring, how a typical midwest boy can become the founder of a billion dollar company. His speech about his story and his advice and words of wisdom were a great way to end the week."

"On Tuesday, we visited Irwin Telescopic. This has been one of my favorite business visits all year! It was so interesting. I really like that they had a presentation for us at first to explain what they do and how they do it, then we walked through the factory and saw it being made. It amazes me that seating for stadiums all across the world in high school, college, and professional athletics are made in Altamont, Illinois! It was also interesting to see how their projects are developed with the project manager and the engineer working together to organize every last detail with the client. I also liked learning about all the different things they do to please their customers and seeing their show room with all the different options they offer and how no project is the same."
