August Laatsch

About Me

August Laatsch is a senior at Altamont High School. He enjoys participating in various activities such as Scholastic Bowl, being president of the National Honor Society, and managing the girls’ basketball team. In his time outside of school, August enjoys hanging out with friends and family and spending time with his pets. He also works at Firefly Grill as a busser and food runner.  August is currently undecided on what to study at college, and he hopes the CEO program will help him find the inspiration for what career he would like to pursue.

“I am grateful to be a part of the 2019 CEO Class. I look forward to the opportunity to learn from all the people involved with CEO, including classmates, facilitators, investors, mentors, and business owners.”

About My Business

One of the biggest challenges businesses face in the ever-changing market today is getting attention. Some of the most popular ways to get a business the advertisement it needs to succeed can be extraordinarily expensive or complicated.  SkyHigh  provides a creative solution to this problem; they provide customers with the opportunity to rent out large inflatable marketing tools that are sure to catch the eye of any passerby.  SkyHigh was founded by  August Laatsch, and he can be reached at augustlaatsch@gmail.com. SkyHigh’s product line, which includes 20 feet tall tube men, can be rented by the hour, day, weekend, or even an entire week.  August plans to attend Lake Land College for two years, and then transfer to a four-year university.
