"Mette’s Distinctive Lighting was a cool business tour to go on. I think the fact that Zach is an alumni of our Effingham CEO Program means so much. To know that he was in our shoes 24 months ago blows my mind. It’s one thing to be in the program and see your classmates succeeding in their personal businesses, but it’s an entirely different thing to see alumni that have been where we are and their making it in the real world and doing awesome. I have a lot of respect for Zach and what he has done with his business. The huge leap of faith that he took and is taking is mind blowing to me. I think Zach is a great representation of how much CEO can truly change your life. Zach told us that if he wouldn’t have been in CEO than he doesn’t know if he would have ever gotten into any of this and I find that story so awesome. The biggest takeaway from Zach was really just not to give up and that if you keep trying and push yourself, you can get places you never even thought of."

"Tuesday our CEO class was spoken to by Ann Deters. Ann talked to us about pricing and how we would budget our experience as a class and personally. I really enjoyed how much class discussion we had. We got to interact and participate so that made the day enjoyable. I personally was a little overwhelmed by all the numbers and math, but I was really thankful that we were provided this information. I took away a lot of knowledge that I didn’t have before and I know what she taught us will help me in the future with my business."11/23/2016
